Representative John Lewis (D-GA) is a long-time veteran of the civil rights movement and has the scars to prove it. He faced down segregationist REDNECKS ranging from small town sherrifs and KKK members (often one and the same) to southern governors such as George Wallace of Alabama (himself a Democrat). Recently, he commented on the emotionally charged rhetoric coming from campaign rallies supporting Republican Presidential candidate John McCain accusing the McCain camp of stirring up the kind of racist hate not seen since the days of Wallace. That kind of comparison is nothing but partisan race baiting aimed at equating the GOP with the KKK and that voting for anyone other than Democrat Barack Obama would be a racist act. Mr. Lewis, with all due respect, you are way out of line. Comparing a McCain rally to one by the Klan is flat out wrong. If you want to see hate, check out the Sermon video of Jeremiah Wright where he shouts out "GODDAMN AMERICA!!!" Now that is hate speech.
"Enough Said!"
